Writing Conference Goes Viral, Well Coronaviral.

This past weekend I was supposed to be in Nashville, TN to attend the Career Author Summit writing conference. Like everything else, the coronavirus changed that and, instead, the in-person event was turned into an online event.

One of the reasons I like to attend writing conferences is to reconnect with other writers and experts in the field. I cherish the friendships I have created at these conferences and its exciting to see my friends’ writing careers continue to grow.

All was not lost, however. The online presenters were great and the information they shared, invaluable. Each session brought insights and tasks to complete. I added post-it notes to my desk as each item was added to my to-do list.

Highlights included Joanna Penn talking about Artificial Intelligence and the future of Audio Books, Dave Chesson about Amazon Keywords, Lindsay Buroker about Writing a Successful Series, Bryan Cohen about Amazon Advertisements, Tim Grahl about Mentorship and Honrée Corder about the Successful Writer Mindset, among others.

As you can see, I have a lot steps ahead of me.
